Bored Purple

"I am bored."  "This is so boring."  These statements are heard frequently around our house.  What I think the girls really mean is, "I don't want to do that." or "I don't like that."  The statements re heard so often that I decided the sentiment needed to be honored in a song.  I hope you enjoy it.

Was browsing at Sam Ash the other day and came across a Beatles song book.  That got me to thinking.  I should record "When I'm Sixty Four" on the ukulele.  Then as I was playing it I realized I can play the intro and some of the riffs with a slide.  So, I did.  I hope you enjoy it.

I was talking with a friend and she said she was having to clean out her sing snap account because she was down graded to blue.  She then said, "it sucks to be blue."  And viola, there is a song idea.

This has a lot of slide/dobro cause that's what I love.  I hope you do as well.

Glory in the Highest

As I have been working on some songs for the girls I have come to realise what I write about and what matters has shifted.  No more songs about dancing, or girls, or parties.  Now it is family, friends, and God.  I guess that is called growing up.

Anyway, here is my latest song.  It is my version of a praise song.
